Qme ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Qme mobile application. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Location: Qme requests access to your device location to show nearby businesses and queues on the map. Location data is used only within the app and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.

Camera: Qme requests camera access solely to scan QR codes for joining queues. No photos or video are stored or transmitted.

Account Information: If you sign in, we store your email address and display name in Firebase to manage your queue history and preferences.

Queue Activity: We store queue join/leave events in Firebase Firestore to provide real-time queue updates and history.

Push Notifications: If you grant permission, we send push notifications to alert you when your turn in the queue is approaching. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, subject to Google's privacy policy.

Data Retention

Queue history is retained for 30 days. Account data is retained until you delete your account. Guest usage leaves no persistent data.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

Qme does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and does not contain content directed at children.
